16 Ways to Become a Better You

  1. Stretch To The Next Level – there is no limit to how high you can go in life. Keep looking to where you want to go. Keep a positive vision and see yourself accomplishing your goals and fulfilling your destiny.
  2. Give Your Dreams A New Beginning – you cannot change the past but you can do something about your future. What’s in front of us is more important that what is already behind us.
  3. Break Free From The Strongholds Of Your Past – recognize what you’re dealing with. Identify it, don’t ignore it. Take responsibility for your actions. Choose to set new standards. Take authority over all the strongholds that are keeping you in bondage.
  4. Make a Difference – your destiny has to do with what excites you. Find one thing that you’re passionate about and start giving yourself to it. Keep believing and stretching until you see your dreams fulfilled. One day you will look back and say with confidence: “This is why God put me here.”
  5. Stop Listening To Accusing Voices – to become a better you, it is important that you learn to feel good about yourself. As long as you’re doing your best, you don’t have to live condemned even when we make mistakes or fail.
  6. Learn to Like Yourself -  Start feeling good about yourself right now. You are not perfect but you are trying to live better. If you don't have a healthy respect for who you are, you will never be able to properly love other people. Self-loathing will destroy all your relationships with other people.
  7. Make Your Words Work For You – don’t use your words to describe your situation, use your words to change your situation. Write you statements of self-talk. Make a list of your dreams, goals and aspirations, as well as the areas of your life you want to improve.
  8. Have Confidence In Yourself – our internal dialogue should always be positive and hopeful. Many people are living in mediocrity because they play a negative recording day after day, over and over. Get out of the habit of thinking negative thoughts about yourself.
  9. Bring The Best Out Of People – everywhere we go, we should be encouraging people, building them up, challenging them to reach for new heights. People should feel challenged and inspired after spending time with you. Take time to make a difference.
  10. Be Good To People – do everything in your power to be a blessing to someone else. The best way to be fulfilled is to get your mind off yourself and reach out to others.
  11. Feed Your Good Habits – feeding your good habits and other negative traits will only make them stronger. Start feeding your good habits – peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, humility and self-control and you will see those traits developing in your life.
  12. Develop A Habit Of Happiness – be happy all the time. No matter what comes your way, we should have smiles on our faces. We should get up every morning excited about each day. If you’re going to be happy, you need to make a decision to be happy right now. Change your focus. Don’t magnify your problems. Magnify your will and your God.
  13. Embrace the Place Where You are – learn to relax and accept the place where you are. It may not be a great place right now but we must believe that we are exactly where we are supposed to be. Quit fighting against everything that didn’t go your way. Make simple adjustments, and you will see things begin to improve. Understand that your faith will not instantly deliver you out of your problems. Instead, your faith will carry you through the problem.
  14. Remember The Good - When we recall the good things, it helps us to stay in an attitude of faith and to remain grateful. Take time to remember your life. Put out some memorial stones. This is one of the best ways to build your faith and keep yourself encouraged. This is one of the best ways to build your faith and keep yourself encouraged.
  15. Plan For Blessing – put the right action with your faith. We have to take it one step further and start expecting. Start making plans to live blessed, prosperous, healthy, joy-filled, abundant long life.
  16. Believe and Expect - Waiting should not be a passive thing. Waiting the correct way means you are on the look out. Talk and act as if what you believe is going to happen.
